On 4 August 2020, REHDA Melaka made a courtesy call on Datuk Salhah Binti Salleh Timbalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Melaka to foster closer relationship between REHDA Melaka and Melaka State Government.  During the 2 hour meeting, Dato’ Sri Ngoh recaptured on the proposal submitted to Majlis Tindakan Ekonomi Negeri Melaka (MTENM) earlier especially on the proposal related to the land development policy in Melaka, such as Bumiputera quota policy, unsold Bumiputera quota units release mechanism, development composition policy, etc.  The meeting also discussed on the pre-workshop on land development policy conducted by Pejabat Tanah dan Galian Melaka (PTG) and Lembaga Perumahan Melaka (Melaka).  Dato’ Sri Ngoh requested Datuk Salhah to allow REHDA Melaka representative to take part in the pre-workshop or workshop as to provide accurate feedback as industry players.

Datuk Salhah informed the meeting on the major economic generator for Melaka, namely the newly identified site for a Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail (HSR) station located near the Green City, and between Mukim Durian Tunggal and Mukim Ayer Panas, the Kuala Linggi International Port (KLIP) project in Alor Gajah and the Melaka Port City, Tanjung Bruas Port in Tanjung Kling, which will create new business opportunities for local entrepreneurs and provide more employment opportunities for the locals.
