On 31 May 2018, REHDA Melaka was delighted to pay a courtesy visit on Tn. Syed Anuar Bin Syed Norddin, the new director of Valuation and Property Services Department, Melaka. The courtesy call was made with an objective to foster closer rapport and understanding amongst both parties. Delegates of REHDA Melaka led by the Chairman Dato’ Sri Ngoh King Hua were received warmly by Tn Syed Anuar & his team. According to Tn. Syed Anuar, Valuation and Property Services Department has launched an Unsold Property Enquiry System Malaysia (UPESM) at their official website - www.jpph.gov.my. Such unsold property data could provide guidance to developers in the private and public sectors on building the right product with the right price, location and timing.

REHDA Melaka shared an introduction about the real estate and property development in Melaka with a group of 37 MBA students from City University of Hong Kong on 22 May 2018 at Casa Del Rio Hotel. REHDA Melaka was delighted to have Mr. Teh Hong Chua, Branch Manager of CH Williams Talhar & Wong Sdn Bhd and Ms. Kelly Ho, Senior Brand Manager of Yong Tai Group to steer the 2 presentation sessions on introduction on housing and property development in Melaka and Impression City Melaka respectively. Attended by Dato’ Sri Ngoh King Hua, Datuk Seri Gwee Yew Kiat, Ms. Judith Ho, Mr. Yee Ying Sung, Mr. Joe Cheong and Ms. Jojo Gwee.

REHDA Melaka Committee Members led by the Branch Chairman Dato’ Sri Ngoh King Hua paid a courtesy call on the new EXCO of Housing, Local Government and Environment, YB Tey Kok Kiew on 21 May 2018 to congratulate him on the recent appointment as well as to introduce the Branch Committee Members for the 2018-2020 term. The Branch look forward for more regular sessions with the new State Housing Committee to further enhance the housing sector in Melaka.

On 19 April 2018, REHDA Melaka Branch Chairman Dato’ Sri Ngoh King Hua led a delegation of 14 people paid a courtesy call on Malacca Governor Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Mohd Khalil Bin Yaakob. The main objective of the visit was to introduce the Committee Members and Hon Advisors of REHDA Melaka to the Governor and to share the points of views on the housing and property sector in Melaka. It was an enlightening visit to cement the beginning of a close relationship between Malacca Governor and REHDA Melaka. Special thank you to Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Datuk Seri Utama Dr. Mohd Khalil Bin Yaakob for the kind hospitality extended to REHDA Melaka during the visit.
