On 9 July 2025, the Penang State Housing Board (LPNPP) conducted a benchmarking visit to REHDA Melaka to strengthen collaboration and knowledge – sharing in the housing industry.

The delegation of 28 LPNPP officers was welcomed with a networking and refreshment session, featuring local delights such as coconut shake, kuih keria, and sandwiches.

The event continued with the welcoming speeches from Datuk Ngoh Chun How, Chairman of REHDA Melaka and Tn Fakhurrazi bin Ibnu Omar, Chief Business Officer Cum General Manager of LPNPP

Three presentations were delivered to the delegates: –

1. Sr Teh Hong Chua Associate Director of CBRE WTW – Housing and property market trends in Melaka
2. Encik Muhammad Rozaini Mohd Rom Senior Planner of Konsep Karisma – Melaka’s housing development planning guidelines (GPP Melaka)
3. Datuk Ngoh Chun How Chairperson of REHDA Melaka – Compliance with state regulations & government incentives for developers

Datuk Ngoh Chun How Chairperson of REHDA Melaka, expressed gratitude Tn Hj Fakhurrazi Ibnu Omar, all LPNPP delegates, Sr Teh Hong Chua Associate Director of CBRE WTW, Tpr Lau Dor Ris & Encik Muhammad Rozaini Mohd Rom Senior Planner of Konsep Karisma for their valuable knowledge sharing and insights.

The visit not only strengthened ties between LPNPP and REHDA Melaka but also laid the foundation for future collaboration in advancing housing development in both states.
