On 13 February 2023, REHDA Melaka welcomed a Courtesy Visit by Telekom Malaysia (TM Melaka) at REHDA Melaka Office with 6 delegates headed by Datuk Rozlan Mohamed, the TM Melaka State General Manager.
REHDA Melaka has organized a Friendly Golf Competition Cum Chinese New Year Fellowship Dinner 2023 on 7 January 2023 at Tiara Melaka Golf and Country Club with the objective to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among members, heads of government department and industry players to kick-start year 2023.
Committee Members of REHDA Melaka led by the Branch Chairman Datuk Ng Choon Koon paid a courtesy visit to the Director of PLANMalaysia@Melaka Tpr Norjafni bin Zainuddin to foster closer interaction and understanding between PLANMalaysia@Melaka and REHDA Melaka. Both parties shared on views and ideas for the betterment of housing sector in Melaka.
REHDA Melaka paid a courtesy visit to YB Datuk Wira Zaidi Bin Johari Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Melaka on 8 November 2022. Aimed to foster closer rapport between Melaka State Government & REHDA Melaka.
REHDA Melaka successfully held its second MAPEX for the year 2022 from 21 to 23 October 2022 at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka. The property expo showcased over 45 development projects located in Melaka offering house buyers a chance to own their dream homes.
REHDA Melaka in collaboration with Technological Association Malaysia Melaka Branch (TAM Melaka) and Hager Malaysia conducted a briefing on requirements, specifications & selection guide for circuit breakers – residual circuit devices (RCD) & surge protective devices (SPD) for branch members on 24 September 2022 at Double Tree By Hilton Hotel, Melaka. The briefing session was attended by 67 members of TAM Melaka & REHDA Melaka.

On 13 February 2023, REHDA Melaka welcomed a Courtesy Visit by Telekom Malaysia (TM Melaka) at REHDA Melaka Office with 6 delegates headed by Datuk Rozlan Mohamed, the TM Melaka State General Manager. The visit aimed to foster a closer rapport between two parties. The meeting deliberated on ideas and solutions to further enhance the connectivity in Melaka via pertinent network and telecommunication infrastructure for the benefit of home-owners and residents in Melaka. The cooperation between housing developers and TM will ensure that every house owner could immediately subscribe to the internet service upon moving into their new homes. At the end of the visit, TM Melaka and REHDA Melaka agreed to continue the engagement and cooperation between both parties.

REHDA Melaka has organized a Friendly Golf Competition Cum Chinese New Year Fellowship Dinner 2023 on 7 January 2023 at Tiara Melaka Golf and Country Club with the objective to promote camaraderie and sportsmanship among members, heads of government department and industry players to kick-start year 2023.
Total of 61 participants from beginner level to hard-core golfers participated in the tournament while the fellowship dinner was attended by a total of 110 participants.

REHDA Melaka’s appeal on “Garis Panduan dan Piawaian Perancangan Negeri Melaka (GPP Negeri Melaka)” was also raised and discussed during the discussion.

REHDA Melaka paid a courtesy visit to YB Datuk Wira Zaidi Bin Johari Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Melaka on 8 November 2022. Aimed to foster closer rapport between Melaka State Government & REHDA Melaka.
During the courtesy visit, REHDA Melaka reiterate REHDA Melaka’s view on 4 clauses stated in the new Dasar Perumahan Negeri Melaka which include:
- to allow 50% composition component for free market housing component not subject to price control;
- to consider Garis Panduan dan Piawaian Perancangan Negeri Melaka (GPP)’s requirement as guideline and not mandatory, such as restrictions on minimum lot size, the requirement of computing the min built-up area excluding car porch, etc;
- not agreeable on the increased of discount for Malay buyers on the acquisition of commercial and industrial property from 10% to 20% and the 10% discount for Malay buyers on the acquisition of Malacca Customary Land (MCL) property;
- to limit the release levy contribution for the release of unsold Bumiputera quota units to 7% based on selling price of Bumiputera quota unit.
REHDA Melaka Chairman Datuk Ng Choon Koon also urging the Melaka State Government to consider for the release of 411 units of unsold bumiputera quota units, complete with certificate of completion and compliance above 5 years in the state as the special incentive for property sector under Melaka state budget 2023.
Committees attended the discussion include Mr Chee Siang Oy, Ms Jojo Gwee, Datuk Sonny Tay, Mr Alan Tee, Mr Yow Song Yoong and Mr Joe Cheong.
The courtesy visit adjourned with a presentation of REHDA’s 50th Anniversary Coffee Table Book to YB Datuk Wira Zaidi as a note of thank you for taking time to meet with REHDA Melaka.

REHDA Melaka successfully held its second MAPEX for the year 2022 from 21 to 23 October 2022 at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka. The property expo showcased over 45 development projects located in Melaka offering house buyers a chance to own their dream homes.
2nd MAPEX Melaka was participated by 17 private developers, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Co-opbank Pertama, PR1MA & Agensi Kauseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK). REHDA Melaka was honoured to have YB Datuk Haji Zaidi Bin Attan EXCO of Housing, Local Government and Environment who representing YAB Chief Minister of Melaka to officiate the opening ceremony on 21 October 2022.
