REHDA represents 1,000 property development companies and is involved in governance and advocacy for the delivery of housing and real estate to the nation, working with the Government and other stakeholders to enhance the wellbeing and housing of the nation.

REHDA Melaka paid a courtesy visit to the Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya (MPHTJ), Datin Sapiah Binti Haron, on 20 August 2024. The delegation from REHDA Melaka was led by Branch Chairperson Datuk Ngoh Chun How, and included Treasurer Joe Cheong, Assistant Honorary Secretary Yeow Hoh Thai, Committee Members Datuk Harold Ong, Yow Song Yoong, and Joe Poh. Senior officers from MPHTJ were also present. The meeting discussed various topics, ideas, and issues related to the improvement of housing and property industry in the state.
REHDA Melaka organized its 1st MAPEX 2024 at AEON Mall Bandaraya Melaka from 23 to 28 July 2024. The expo was officiated by the Melaka State Senior Executive Council (EXCO Kanan) of Housing, Local Government, Drainage, Climate Change and Disaster Management, YB Datuk Hj. Rais bin Datuk Wira Yasin representative of YAB Chief Minister of Melaka, witnessed by REHDA Melaka Branch Chairperson Datuk Ngoh Chun How, Chairman of the MAPEX Organizing Committee Datuk Tay Chor Han, Mayor of Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah Datuk Hj. Shadan bin Hj. Othman, Executive Director of Lembaga Perumahan Melaka Datuk Tpr Hj. Murad bin Hj. Husin and REHDA Melaka committee members.
On 15 July 2024, REHDA Melaka paid a courtesy call on Alor Gajah Municipal Council (MPAG) President YBrs. Tn Tpr. Saifuddin Bin Abdul Karim which aimed to foster closer ties between MPAG and as well as to introduce REHDA Melaka Branch Committee Members.
